This is a real Goose egg on a clear plastic stand with a fancy hinge, cut along the shortest center of the egg (side to side). Unlined and ready to decorate or display, this egg is ideal for making into a jewelry box, miniature peep scene, or decorated egg box. Some artists decorate hinged eggs with polymer clay, quilling, acrylic paint, decoupage, or findings and braid. Each of our eggs is handmade and the edges are slightly textured. The hinge is positioned knuckle out, so that the egg opens all the way.
