This is a Duck egg on a clear plastic stand with a fancy hinge, cut along the shortest center of the egg (side to side). The egg is not glued to the stand. Unlined and ready to decorate or display, this egg is ideal for making into a jewelry box, miniature peep scene, or decorated egg box. Some artists decorate hinged eggs with polymer clay, quilling, acrylic paint, decoupage, or findings and braid. Each of our eggs is handmade and the edges are slightly textured. The hinge is positioned knuckle out, so that the egg opens all the way. Duck, very light pastel-green or white, @ 2.5 or 2.75 inches tall, 6.5 or 7.5 inches around tallest circumference, 6 inches around fattest circumference, 3/16ths inch hole, choose color at checkout.
These real eggs are perfectly natural, but not naturally perfect. The cut varies with the shape of the egg, and everything is handmade. There will be tiny uneven places along the cut, but no cracks or chips. The interior natural paper of the egg is intact, as it adds to the egg strength.
