All cut and hinged and matched for whiteness and texture. The eggs are not glued to the stands. This set of four real hinged eggs is unlined and ready to decorate or display. Ideal for making into a matching set jewelry box, miniature peep scene, or decorated egg box. Some artists decorate hinged eggs with polymer clay, quilling, acrylic paint, decoupage, or findings and braid. Each of our eggs is handmade and the edges are slightly textured. The hinge is positioned knuckle out, so that the egg opens all the way. This set is sold with 4 small plastic stands. I used some small stands inside each egg to position them for this photo, and the set will come with the same stands that I used.

Chicken, white, @ 2.25 inches tall, 6.25 inches around tallest circumference, 5.5 inches around fattest circumference, 3/16ths inch hole, most brittle of all the eggs, porous surface.
Bobwhite Quail, white, @ 1.25 inches tall, 3.5 inches around the tallest circumference, 3 inches around the fattest circumference, 3/16ths inch hole or no hole (dried). Porous white surface, often textured by natural white on white details. Thin, but the most flexible of all the eggs.
