Silver Laced Polish Chicken, Medium Bag

The Silver Laced Polish chicken is one of the Top Hat breeds, meaning it has feathers on it's head instead of (or in addition to) a comb. I've always wondered if they can actually see through the grand cascade of feathers pouring over their faces, and I've decided that no, they can't really. They don't seem to hear very well either. Our Polish chickens were the easiest to catch in the whole pen and spent many a day being played with, gently, like a doll by my little girls, who were so pleased to be able to catch a chicken. The feathers are  striking, white base with a black edge. That's laced in the feather world. The white is called Silver, thus the Silver Laced part of their name. Feathers are 2 - 3 inches long, fuzzy based, 25 feathers per bag.
