My favorite feather! 4 to 6 inches long, thick stemmed and light silver gray. The vane is very dense... I imagine that the feather looks almost metallic, but it is a natural feather. This feather is actually the reason I've kept my beloved noisy, aggressive, messy, consumptive, flock. This is a wing feather, and in the pack are other shorter wing feathers, secondary flight feathers which are softer with a white edging. They are from my African geese, with one or two from my Toulouse or White Chinese ladies.
