This bag of broken ostrich shell contains about 4 oz of large and small shell pieces. They are not dyed. Perfect for jewelry or mixed media artwork, they are clean, and ready to work. The edges may be sharp. The amount of shell in each bag is more than half an eggÉ may even be a whole egg. The shards do not all come from the same eggs, so there is variety in the pore patterns and shell finish. All were premium quality eggs before they broke, all from domestic Ostrich.
